Events in Woburn
The 3rd Sunday of each month sees the Woburn Farmers market held on 'the Pitchings'. A great variety of fresh produce is available from the many stalls.
Friday 5th Sep to Sunday 7th Sep 2008 Markets & fairs have been held on 'The Pitchings', the cobbled area at the centre of Woburn, since 1242. The Oyster Festival continues the tradition into the 21st Century. The festival is not just about oysters as a variety of other foods and drink
are available all weekend PLUS live music, street entertainment, a giant flea
market, craft fair and a childrens funfair making it a great day out for the
whole family.
Saturday 21st June 2008 The Heritage Centre organise the 'Woburn Open Garden Day' giving you the opportunity to wander around the village with access to many of the beautiful private gardens. A scarecrow competition is also incorporated into this event.
